The Clerk of District Court is a passport application acceptance facility. To apply for a passport, you will need the following:
- Passport Application (Do Not sign the application. You must sign it after taking an oath in front of one of our acceptance agents.) You can obtain an application from this office, or you can print a form from the website: http://travel.state.gov
- Current driver’s license or other picture ID
- Certified copy (with a raised seal) of your birth certificate
- Two (2) identical passport photos 2”x2” exactly. We recommend that you obtain these photos from a business that has the equipment and experience to take passport photos
- The appropriate fee from the schedule below. Please note, a separate check or money order made payable to the US Department of State is required for each applicant
Passport Book Fees
- Adult: $135 cash ***OR***
$25 cash or money order made payable to Clerk of Court for acceptance facility fee and
$110 check or money order made payable to US Department of State
- Child under 16: $105 cash ***OR***
$25 cash or money order made payable to Clerk of Court for acceptance facility fee and
$80 check or money order made payable to US Department of State
Passport Card Fees
- The card is for land and sea travel ONLY to Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean
- Adult: $55 cash ***OR***
$25 cash or money order made payable to Clerk of Court for acceptance facility fee and
$30 check or money order made payable to US Department of State
- Child: $40 cash ***OR***
$25 cash or money order made payable to Clerk of Court for acceptance facility fee and
$15 check or money order made payable to US Department of State
Passport Book and Card Fees
- Adult: $165 cash ***OR***
$25 cash or money order made payable to Clerk of Court for acceptance facility fee and
$140 check or money order made payable to US Department of State
- Child under 16: $120 cash ***OR***
$25 cash or money order made payable to Clerk of Court for acceptance facility fee and
$95 check or money order made payable to US Department of State
Expedited Passport Fees
- $60 for passport and/or card
- $14.96 Overnight Delivery Return Fee - Passport Book ONLY

Tracking your passport
- After 5-7 days from the date of your application, you can go to the above website to find the status of your application.
- The secure site allows you to enter your last name, date of birth, and last 4 digits of your Social Security Number. After your inquiry is complete, the information is deleted from the system.
Renewal of passport
- You may pick up Form DS-82 from this office. You will need the form to mail to Passport Services for the renewal of your passport.
