Robert Nugent earned his law degree from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas in 1989.

Robert has been assigned to the Juvenile Division of the Sweetwater County Attorney's Office since April of 2007.

Robert has previously worked with the juvenile justice system in Kansas and Colorado as a Prosecutor, Defense Attorney and Guardian Ad Litem.

He has also been a licensed foster parent for 15 years and is a member of the Colorado Foster Parent Association.
