Aviation Checklists

Plane Crash

If you think, or know, you saw an aircraft crash, call 911 and give the following information to the dispatcher:

Reporting Party Name  
Reporting Party Callback Phone Number and Location
Where the Incident Occurred
Date and Time of the Incident
Any further information you feel would be of value to the person taking the report.

You may be needed for further information, so please be sure to let them know where you can be found.


Missing Aircraft

If you are expecting a non-commercial aircraft to land at the airport at a specific time and the aircraft has not landed within a reasonable time frame, you should contact the airport at (307) 352-6888 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Provide the airport personnel with as much information as you can about the aircraft and pilot.  This information would include:

Reporting Party Name
Reporting Party Callback Number and Location
Pilot's Name
Aircraft's Departure Airport
Aircraft's Estimated Time of Departure
Aircraft's Estimated Time of Arrival
Type of Aircraft, Color and Tail Number
Route
Estimated Number of People on Board
Any further information you feel would be of value to the person taking the report

An attempt will be made to locate the aircraft.  You may be needed for further information and the airport will want to notify you when the aircraft is located, so please be sure to let them know where you can be found.
