Census Day is April 1, 2010. Every
10 years, the Census Bureau takes a count of the population
to determine which states gain or lose representation in
Congress, the amount of state and federal funding and to
determine the distribution of tax revenue for public health,
neighborhood improvements,
transportation, education, senior services,
and much more!
By filling out your Census questionnaire, you're helping the
County receive much needed revenue to help fund these

On June 13, 2007 the Planning and Zoning Commission
recommended the
Draft Unified Development Code to the Board of County
Commissioners by
Recommendation 07-06-PZ-01. Find out more about

Development Moratorium in Reliance
On November 6, 2007,
the Board of County Commissioners issued a
Moratorium on Development within the
Reliance Water System Region. This moratorium will be in
force and effect until the Reliance public water system is
repaired and upgraded to comply with the 2006 Edition of the
International Fire Code and all other applicable
regulations.
