The Sweetwater County Tripartite Board retained Corona Research in September, 2002, to conduct a study of the current Service Delivery system for low-income households in Sweetwater County. This study was performed in accordance with the county's Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) requirements, which state that Sweetwater County must develop a Community Action Plan to comply with federal funding requirements. The results of this study, provided herein, comprise foundational research for the county's Community Action Plan.

The primary purpose of this study was to examine the current service delivery system in Sweetwater County and compare the services that are currently being delivered with both short-term and long-term needs of the low-income population in the county. Ultimately, research findings in this study revealed the service categories with the greatest existing and projected "gaps" in service, based on available data/.
