Montgomery G.I. Bill
Eligibility expires 10 years after the service-member's discharge. There are exceptions for disability, re-entering active duty, and upgraded discharges.

Reserve Educational Assistance Program (REAP)
This program ensures that all reservists who were activated for at least 90 days after September 11, 2001 are either eligible for education benefits or eligible for increased benefits. View the Access Pamphlet to learn more.

Veteran's Educational Assistance Program (VEAP)

Available if you first entered active duty between January 1, 1977, and June 30, 1985, and you made contributions from your military pay for this program. View additional general information about VEAP.

Educational Assistance Test Program
This program was created by the Department of Defense Authorization Act of 1981 to encourage enlistment and reenlistment. View the Educational Assistance Test Program Pamphlet to learn more.

Survivors & Dependents Educational Assistance (DEA) Program
Available for the spouse or child of a person who has a service-connected permanent and total disability; and at the time of the service-connected decision, the person is a member of the Armed Forces who is hospitalized or receiving outpatient medical care, services, or treatment; and is likely to be discharged or released from service for this service.
